Find QCAS-approved Personal Assistants in West Hertfordshire
Local home support introductions for people looking for companionship, personal care, respite support, domestic help or live-in support.
Hub Care Support West Hertfordshire helps people find flexible support at home from independent Personal Assistants in the local area.
We understand that choosing support for yourself or someone close to you can feel like a big step. Our role is to help make that process clearer, easier and more reassuring.
You choose the Personal Assistant you feel is right, and the practical details such as days, times, tasks and rates are agreed directly between you and the PA.
How the Hub Care Support works locally
Finding the right support should feel personal, not rushed.
That’s why we take the time speak with every single person looking for support.
We want to understand your individual circumstances and needs so we can make the best, most informed suggestions for your support.

Chat with us
First, you tell your local Hub team what kind of support you are looking for. This might include companionship, help at home, personal care, respite support, dementia support or live-in care.

Review PA profiles
We send you the profiles of every Personal Support Assistant that potentially meets your wants and needs. Then it's over to you to take the time to fully review their profiles.

Arrange a chat
Once you've made your selections, invite the Personal Support Assistant(s) to meet with you so you can be sure that they are the right fit, ask them for any more information and discuss the finer details of your support.

Why we only introduce QCAS-approved PAs
Choosing a Personal Assistant is a personal decision, so reassurance matters.

Amy
Director
Amy has worked in the care sector for over 20 years, supporting people with a wide range of care and support needs.
She first joined Hub Care Support around 10 years ago as a self-employed Personal Assistant, enjoying the flexibility and personal approach of the Hub model. Her passion for the service soon led to her joining the operations team.
When the opportunity arose to open Hub Care Support – West Herts in early 2022, it was too good to miss. Since then, Amy and Adam have grown the service considerably, expanding across Hertfordshire and building a large network of experienced, independent PAs and carers.
More than four years on, Amy particularly enjoys getting to know individuals and their families and introducing them to PAs who are a great match for their needs, personality and interests. Seeing those introductions develop into trusted, long-term relationships remains one of the most rewarding parts of her role.
Adam
Director
Adam is Amy’s husband and supports her with the running of the West Hertfordshire branch. Adam worked in the insurance industry for 20 years and joined Hub Care Support in 2022. After many discussions about the care industry over the years with Amy, Adam felt that they could make a really positive impact for both those needing support and those looking for work opportunities with our own introduction service within Hertfordshire. Together they are passionate about providing an excellent service and keeping standards high by growing and maintaining a Hub Care register with only brilliant personal assistants and carers.
Hazel
Operations exectutive
Hazel joined the Hub Care Support team in April 2026, bringing valuable experience from NHS administrative roles and her time as a Personal Assistant on our register.
As a PA, Hazel built a fantastic reputation, with families regularly telling us how much they valued her caring approach, reliability and professionalism. This experience gives her a real understanding of what makes a successful relationship between a PA and the person they support.
Since joining the team, Hazel has quickly become an important part of Hub Care Support, working closely with PAs and families and helping to find the right people for new referrals.
Hazel has made a huge impact since joining us and we are delighted to have her as part of the team. Her friendly, approachable manner and first-hand experience make her particularly well placed to support both our PAs and the families who come to us for help.
